The material in Series 8 relates to three expositions for which Culin organized exhibitions: The Columbian Historical Exposition, Madrid (1892-93); the World's Columbian Exposition (1893); and the Philadelphia Sesquicentennial (1926). Although this material does not exhaustively document Culin's involvement, these expositions are represented with printed material including clippings, programs, illustrations, calling cards, flyers, menus, tickets, invitations, certificates, and lists. This material does not detail Culin's preparation and installation of the exhibitions.
